Data CD Reading Tests

- Pressed CD results (Click for CDSpeed results)

In the graph above we can see that the drive has a good transfer rate compared with the other two drives, where there is very little between them.

The reported seek times for the Samsung drive are good for all modes except the full seek time which is slightly high.
- CD-R results (Click for CDSpeed results)

We made a copy of the previous, pressed CD in order to test the drive's behavior with CD-R media. As with the previous test, the Samsung and the other two drives exhibit similar results.

The results with pressed CD are similar to those with the pressed CD seek times.

- ReWritable Media (Click for CDSpeed results)

For the reading test we used 24x Ultra Speed rewritable media from Mitsubishi Chemicals.
