The faster reader in the Average Sequential I/O test is the CyQve with 5524Kb/S.
Philips PCRW4012P gets the third place with 5352Kb/s. The CyQve 4048 performed
well in the Average Random I/O test with 908Kb/s, followed by Philips PCRW4012P
but the first place belongs to the LG GCE-8400B.

At the Nero CD Speed test, the CyQve 4048 gave the highest reading speed of
37.83X. The Philips PCRW4012P comes third with 36.65X.
In the Seek times test, the CyQve 4048 has the second best performance with
91ms, while the Philips drives has the lowest with 114ms (random), 133 (1/3)
and 249ms (Full Stroke).

With CDR media, the CyQve 4048 holds the first place with 38.54X, while the
Philips PCRW4012P gets the third place with 37.4X. The CyQve 4048 would have
higher average reading speed, but at 70mins it dropped its reading speed to
45X.

For the RW tests we used the Mitsubishi Chemical HS-RW written at 12x. The
CyQve 4048 has the higher average reading speed of 36.02X, while the Philips
PCRW4012P is slower with 25.33X.
