Krusell x50V

1. Introduction

Krusell is probably the best known case manufacturer for portable devices, providing quality products at affordable prices. Recently, we had the chance to test a genuine leather case for our Dell x50V and post our impressions. But first, let's learn a bit more about Krusell, the company.

- About Krusell

Krusell was founded in 1991. Today the group consists of the following companies: Krusell United AB, Krusell International AB, Krusell Real Estate KB and Krusell Thailand Co Ltd. Headquarters are located in Mölnlycke, Sweden. Production facilities are located in Thailand and China.

The company manufacturers carrying cases for portable electronics, while mainly focusing on carrying solutions for devices like mobile phones, PDAs, digital cameras and MP3-players. Krusell is the patent holder of the unique Multidapt carrying system.

As Krusell says "...Our goal is to work with distributors all over the world. Presently we have distributors in over 50 countries (2005). At present over 7000 retailers worldwide sell products assembled with the unique Multidapt-system. The main outlets for our products are telecom and computer dealers, the brown goods sector and department stores. In the industrial field we work with the sub-contractors as well as major OEMs..."
