AOpen Aeolous 6800Ultra

1. Introduction

Several months ago, CDRinfo released a review about the capabilities of the Aeolus 6800 Ultra SLI. As the new age dawns for the Nvidia based chipset graphic cards with the release of the already famous 7800 GPU cards (which will be reviewed shortly by the CDRinfo team), we will take a look at the capabilities of the Aeolus 6800 Ultra PCI-E in single mode. As one will see from the following pages, this card has a lot to offer the potential buyer and should not in any way be considered outdated. For OC capabilities and SLI performance, feel free to look at the full review of the SLI Aeolus 6800 Ultra.

- Packaging/Bundle

Nice, stylish retail box. Notice the PCI-E logo clearly indicating that the card is a PCI Express interface graphics card.

AOpen couldn't do only with these "Lite" games and added two more, SpellForce: The Order of Dawn, and Arx Fatalis.
