2. Impressions
This
review or rather presentation was very short. We couldn't possible
imagine a serious test that could be done with an over-voltage
protector, especially made for graphic card. The Spire PowerFuse SP162
is a new and possibly innovating product that has its potential market
share among gamers and modders. We all know that there aren't many
power supplies that can provide stable and sustain voltages to the
whole system and especially in the graphics card. With the arrival of
"energy sucking monsters" like Nvidia's 8800GTX, you need a really good
power supply to keep them running. Adding an extra level or protection
to your investment does really sound a good and clever idea. We have no
problem recommending this product to anyone who needs it. We couldn't
find a possible retail price but we imagine it should be really
affordable, since Spire has a tradition in low priced (but qualitative)
products.
