An international finance magazine based in Hong Kong chose Samsung Electronics as the best managed company in Korea. The magazine placed Samsung as the best company in five categories (within Korean companies), including best CFO, best managed company, best IR and best corporate governance.

LG Electronics Inc. was chosen as the 2nd best managed company in Korea followed by POSCO, and KT and POSCO followed Samsung Elec. in the corporate governance department.

Finance Asia designates the best companies in various categories in 10 Asian countries including Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Korea.
