AudioCD copyright regulations applied to China

The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) and the Music Copyright Society of China (MCSC) agreed to protect musical rights and guard against improper use.

Under the agreement, the right to reproduce any JASRAC-administered music sold in China in the forms of CDs and electronic files distributed on the Internet is protected. The MCSC can take legal action for Japanese recording companies against any such infringement in China, and vice versa.
