GoVideo introduces Dual-Deck(TM) DVD recorder + VCR and single deck DVD recorder

GoVideo announced the introduction of two new DVD Recorders, its new Dual- Deck(TM) DVD Recorder + VCR, and single-deck DVD Recorder.

GoVideo's new VR3930 and VR4940 models represent the company's first Dual- Deck(TM) line combining a DVD recorder and hi-fi VCR all in one, capable of copying VHS tapes to DVD and DVD discs to VHS at the touch of a button.

A front panel DV input (1394 connection) enables digital camcorders to be plugged in for easy recording to DVD and for playback on the TV.

The new VR4940 model comes in a sleek, black-colored design equipped with GoVideo's two latest feature innovations, EZ Play(TM) and MyDVD(TM). GoVideo's EZ Play(TM) feature automatically skips ads, trailers and menus, jumping right to the start of the movie. Simply place the disc in the tray, press the play key, and the movie starts without interruption.

GoVideo's My DVD(TM) feature permanently stores the set-up preferences that on most other DVD players need to be checked or unchecked every time you load a new DVD. The VR4940 model is also capable of video CD playback and features a handy backlit, multi-brand remote.

Unlike other DVD+VCR combination products on the market today, users can connect the DVD Recorder + VCR to their television using any of the available video connections, including S-Video and Component/Progressive video, and view both DVD and VHS material without having to change connections.

The VR3930 Dual-Deck(TM) is shipping now to retailers throughout the United States. The VR4940 Dual-Deck(TM) is scheduled to be available in January.

On the other hand, GoVideo's new R6530 DVD Recorder has a built-in TV tuner and on-screen user interface enables up to eight timer recordings to be scheduled at once, with five recording speeds providing between one and six hours of content on each DVD disc.

The new R6530 DVD Recorder's versatile playback capability features progressive scan output and supports DVD-Video, DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/W, Audio CDs, MP3s and JPEGs, and Kodak Picture CDs. A wide variety of today's video and audio inputs allows for connection to virtually all televisions and home theater systems. GoVideo's R6530 DVD Recorder is available now throughout the U.S.

GoVideo is launching a new level of customer support designed to walk customers through their first DVD recording. GoVideo's 'White Glove Customer Care' provides a DVD+R/W disc in the box with instructions on how to call a GoVideo customer service representative for free valuable assistance in making their first recording.
