Sony to make SCE wholly owned subsidiary

Sony said Friday it will make video game maker Sony Computer Entertainment Inc (SCE) a wholly owned subsidiary on April 1, 2004.

The move is intended to help create new markets and bolster the development of semiconductors by combining electronics and game technologies.
