Pegasys releases TMPGEnc DVD Author v1.5 with Dolby Digital support

Pegasys, the manufacturer of the well-known TMPEG encoder, will include AC-3 encoding/decoding support in the new version of the TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.5. The software will be available in the Japanese market on December 26 at a price of 12,800 yen.

In addition, the company plans to release an downloadable plug-in for the Dolby Digital function at a price of 2,980 yen.
