Epson adds CD printing to popular printer model

Epson is upgrading its Stylus Photo 960 printer to print text and images directly onto DVDs and CDs. The discs are placed in a tray that slides straight through the printer's paper path. The new version, which is due in stores in February, costs about $350. Besides printing onto discs, the six-color printer also produces crisp photos with a resolution up to 2,880 by 1,440 dots per inch. Already own a 960 printer without the CD printing option? Epson will provide a free upgrade kit with the required CD tray and software!
