GoPro Launches New Hero 7 Black, Silver and White Cameras

Today, GoPro announced its new product lineup including the $399 flagship, HERO7 Black, the HERO7 Silver and the HERO7 White.

The HERO7 Black features HyperSmooth, a video stabilization technology that makes it easy to capture professional-looking, gimbal-like stabilized video without the expense or hassle of a motorized gimbal. And HyperSmooth works underwater and in high-shock and wind situations where gimbals fail.

With HERO7 Black, GoPro is also introducing a new form of video called TimeWarp. TimeWarp Video applies a high-speed, 'magic-carpet-ride' effect to your videos. Imagine a scenic drive, ocean dive or walk through the city compressed into a super-stabilized, sped-up version of itself, with the entire experience playing out in seconds. TimeWarp Video transforms longer experiences into short, flowing videos that are compelling to watch and easy to share.

And when it comes to sharing, HERO7 Black is the first GoPro to live stream, enabling users to automatically share in real time to Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, Vimeo and other platforms internationally.

$399 HERO7 Black Features:

The $399 HERO7 Black is available for pre-order on Sept. 20 at GoPro.com; it will be in-store internationally beginning Sept. 27, and in the U.S. on Sept. 30.

These the HERO7 Silver and the HERO7 White are the simpilest GoPro cameras ever. Both rugged, pocket-size cameras capture high-quality photo and video, are waterproof without a housing, voice commend-enabled, and have WiFi connectivity.

The $299 HERO7 Silver and $199 HERO7 White both shoot in three modes: photo, video and tim lapse. They also have built-in electronic image stabilization.

A new UI resembles the feel of a smartphone and delivers content with a few taps of your finger. Plus, new tools, such as vertical capture, the pre-set Short Clips video feature and selfie/group-friendly Photo Timer, take the guess work out of video and photo capture.
