JOLED Produces First OLED Using Economical Ink-jet Printing Process

JOLED, a Japanese company established by Japan Display, Sony and Panasonic, has shipped high-definition organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels produced with the world's first low-cost "RGB printing method".

JOLED's new product is a 21.6-inch 4K high-resolution OLED panel. The company says the product has already been selected for use in medical monitors (Sony Imaging Products & Solutions), and JOLED will gradually ship the product for use in a variety of applications.
