Mitsui launches world's first 24x CD-R Media

"...Mitsui announced the launch of the world's first 24x blank CD-R media. The Mitsui SG Ultra II CD-R will enable users with access to the new 24x CD writers launched this month to record a full 650MB onto disc in just three minutes. Mitsui Advanced Media is the only manufacturer whose 24x media is available today.

The super sensitivity of Phthalocyanine dye means that each Mitsui CD-R is recorded with greater accuracy; sharper pit edges on the burnt CD-R are easier for a CD drive to read and deliver crystal clear sound or data quality. The Mitsui SG Ultra II CD-R is now available from Mitsui priced at 0.84$..."
