Nvidia Introduces the GeForce GT 1030 Graphics Card

Nvidia partners are releasing information about their new graphics cards based upon the GeForce GT 1030 chipset.

Nvidia says that the GeForce GT 1030 packs a "powerful graphics engine," based on its latest Pascal architecture and is adept at tasks such as video editing and HD gaming. The card support GeForce Experience and technologies like GameWorks, Game Ready drivers, GPU Boost 3.0, DirectX 12 and Vulkan. However, this GT card lacks support for GTX standard features such as G-Sync, Ansel, GameStream, and it isn't VR Ready.

The GT 1030 is meant to replace your weak integrated graphics.

A reference design GeForce GT 1030 offers the following:

GPU with 384 CUDA cores
GPU boost clock of 1468MHz
Memory: 2GB GDDR5 on a 64-bit interface
Memory clock of 6GHz providing 48GBps bandwidth
Connectors for: DP 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, Dual Link-DVI
Maximum res: 7680x4320 @60Hz, plus multi-monitor support
2-slot design
TDP: 30W

Some of Nvidia's partners (EVGA, MSI Gigabyte an more) may have pushed the GPU clocks a little more.
