Rimage Announces Software to Connect Company's CD-R Systems With Popular Audio Editing Program

".. Rimage announced today a new software accessory that allows popular audio editing programs to communicate more easily with the company's CD-Recordable (CD-R) publishing and duplicating systems. With the new AudioLink accessory, users of audio editing programs from SEK'D and other vendors will be able to connect directly to Rimage CD-R systems, allowing them to seamlessly record and label multiple CDs from within the editing software.

Using AudioLink, a sound engineer can finish editing a project, send it to an automated Rimage CD-R system, and return immediately to another editing task while the CDs are recorded and labeled. AudioLink also allows a user to master a recording on a hard drive and send it directly to a CD-R system, eliminating intermediate steps between mastering and replication such as transferring tracks to DAT or assembling tracks to a single CD for use as a duplicating master.

The AudioLink accessory announced today is compatible with audio editing software from SEK'D, and will be bundled with SEK'D's Samplitude 24/96, Samplitude Studio and Red Roaster products. AudioLink is also compatible with audio editing software from other vendors.."
