CDR-Info posted info for 12x CDR/W & Media sometime ago.

If you remember S&F had also made the 1st 8x CDR/W drive and then several other manufactures (ex. Plextor and Imation..) since into past they all shared 8/2/20 machine..(Question..who is now making that new 12/4/32 machine ?..I could guess Sanyo but again I am not sure..)

Also as far I remember 8x CDRs from S&F had problems with 8x certified media. They could only wrote it.. But when Plextor 8x CDRs came they could wrote all media into 8x speed without any problems..

So we must wait until the Rocket Mach 12 comes and be serious tested.. Lets hope this time it will be better than the 8x model..

What about 12x certified media ?.. As CDR-Info already posted 12x media maybe already be out (not 100% sure..) We had heard that Mitsui has released it.. But then again nothing is mentioned into their website.. I guess we still have to wait for it also..

Suddenly my 4416s CDR/W seems kind old now..Don't you agree ?
