Maxtor Reveals Its New Atlas Disk Drive

Hard disk drive provider Maxtor Corp has introduced its new hard disk drive offering, the Maxtor Atlas 10K IV. The product will be made available in 36GB, 73GB and 146GB configurations, each with an 8MB cache. Also included will be the SCSI U320 interface with adaptive active filtration which provides improved signal quality, according to the company.

The Maxtor Atlas 10K IV is scheduled to be made available in Q3 2002. Pricing details have yet to be announced.
