Intel is reportedly set to update its solid state drive (SSD) lineup in the next couple of months with new models designed for enerpise and datacenter operations.

Digitimes.com cited sources in Taiwan and reported Intel's plans to release the DC P2950 series SSD products in mid-May targeting datacenter applications aas well as the Pro 1500 series for enterprise applications. The P2950 will feature 25nm SLC chips, while the Pro 1500 will adopt a 20nm MLC process and will include 480GB, 350GB, 240GB, 180GB and a 80GB model, the report claims.
