T-Mobile USA on Tuesday launched GoSmart Mobile, a prepaid wireless brand that will sell cellphone services to customers who want to pay for calls in advance.
Hoping to attract budget-conscious consumers, GoSmart, a new brand from T-Mobile USA, offers affordable, no annual contract plans on its network starting at $30 per month for unlimited talk time and texting services, but no mobile Internet services. A $35 per month plan includes mobile Internet access on its slower network while a $45 plan offers higher speeds.
T-Mobile is hoping to attract the people who are still more interested in using their phone for voice calls than for web surfing.
