Pioneer Releases 2-Channel Elite Integrated Amplifier

Pioneer today officially released its new Elite A-20 integrated amplifier designed for the 2-channel music enthusiast.

The new analog-only amplifier includes six audio inputs, with the ability to accurately reproduce content from sources such as Pioneer's Elite networked audio players, the N-30 or N-50.

The amplifier uses a Direct Energy design that features shorter signal paths and power train to help minimize signal loss that can degrade the quality of audio, as well as strategically placed power supply/output circuit blocks to reproduce a cleaner audio output with reduced total harmonic distortion of less than 0.05%. Additionally, the amplifier features aluminum front and side panels for rigidity and durability.

The A-20 is built to handle a range of sources from the latest digital formats to vinyl records. Vinyl enthusiasts can easily connect their turntables to the amplifier via the MM phono input and listen to their entire vinyl collection. The amplifier also features Auto Power Down, which automatically turns itself off when no input is sensed for a period of time.

Inputs include Phono, Tuner, SACD/CD, AUX and Network Recorder. The amplifier's remote control can also operate the basic functions of these network audio players.

Pioneer?s A-20 integrated amplifier is available with a suggested retail price of $300.
