New Intel Celeron Chips Relased

Intel has added four new Mobile Celeron CPUs on its latest price list of chips due to be released at the end of Q3.

The new additions are the Celeron 807, 877, B730 and B820. These chips are based on Intel's previous Sandy Bridge micro-architecture and not based upon the newer Ivy Bridge design. They are intended for use in low cost thin notebooks.

The Celeron B730 and B820 are low end G2 socket chips with a 35W TDP. The B730 is a single core CPU running at 1.8GHz while the B820 is a dual core CPU running at 1.7GHz. The Celeron 807 and 877 are also single and dual core CPUs respectively and run at 1.5GHz and 1.4GHz respectively. The Celeron 807 and 877 are produced in a BGA package and have a 17W TDP, designed for use in low cost thin and light notebooks.

All four of these Celeron chips has integrated HD graphics and features such as Intel 64, VT-x virtualization, and SIMD instruction up to SSE4.
