NVIDIA has released the first WHQL-certified GeForce drivers for Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system.
The GeForce 302.82 WHQL drivers released today are compatible with Nvidia's desktop GPUs (not notebooks) running on Windows 8 Release Preview.
According to the
release notes document, the new drivers do not offer any performance updates, rather than an updated NVIDIA Control Panel, from which Windows 8 users will be able to set up stereoscopic 3D.
The driver is meant only for Windows 8
64-bit and
32-bit versions.
