Hackers Target Apple In Latest Attack

Hackers on Sunday posted a document it claimed contains usernames and passwords for an Apple server.

A list of 27 user names and encrypted passwords apparently for an Apple website was posted to the Internet with a warning that Apple could be a target of cyber attacks. Anonymous said the data were part of the the www.abs.apple.com website. The specific website is used by Apple for online surveys.

The list was posted to the text-sharing website Pastebin under the title "Not Yet Serious." "AntiSec," a hacking campaign that includes hackers from both the online group Anonymous and hackers from the now-defunct Lulz Security, posted the document.

Apple has not commented on the event.

Anonymous earlier this month released scores of private e-mails and other data from an Arizona police website.

In related news, hackers also took control of the Twitter account of FoxNews.com's political news feed on Monday and sent several false tweets saying that President Barack Obama had been shot dead.

Foxnews.com immediately responded to the hack saying that it is inverstigated the incident.
