Nvidia released a beta driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION GPUs, which adds support for OpenGL 3.1.
The GeForce/ION Driver Release 190.38 Beta also
adds support for CUDA 2.3 for improved performance in GPU Computing applications.
This driver adds support for NVIDIA PhysX acceleration on all GeForce 8 series, 9 series and 200 series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory (this driver package installs NVIDIA PhysX System Software v9.09.0428).
A new user-controlled power management setting for GeForce 9-series and later graphics cards has been also added. This option allows users to set a performance level for each DirectX or OpenGL application.
The driver also includes several new control panel features and numerous bug fixes.
