Intel Set To Announce Agreement With Nokia On Mobile Chips

Intel will reportedly announce today an agreement to sell Nokia processors for mobile devices, a move that could give Intel a foothold in the market for mobile-phone chips.

The deal will be announced on a conference call today, according to Bloomberg, citing a reliable source. Anand Chandrasekher, senior vice president of Intel's ultra-mobility group, will deliver the news later today, Bloomberg said.

Intel is competing with Texas Instruments and Qualcomm in the market of chips for phones.
