Dell Releases XP Mini 10 netbook With HDMI

Dell made the new Inspiron Mini 10 netbook available for pre-orders in the QVC consumer shopping site for $649, with shipments to begin March 13.

Dell is also expected to start receiving direct orders at it site in February 26. Prices for Dell's own configurations will start at $399.

The netbook has a 10.0-inch widescreen display, a 160 GB hard drive; 1 GB of RAM; 802.11b/g; and a built-in 1.3 mpixel webcam. Other features include HDMI output; and 2GB online file storage. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z530 (1.6GHz) CPU and it will run Windows XP (QVC's configuration). Connectivity options include dual USB 2.0 ports, and Ethernet.



Its size is about 260x184x32mm (w x D x H) and it is powered by a three-cell lithium ion battery.



The main body color is six models (blue, green, pink, red, white, and the black).

Dell's configuration of the Mini 10 netbook will also include GPS, Bluetooth, WWAN, solid state drives, an internal digital TV tuner and options to select Windows Vista or Ubuntu operating systems.
