Comcast together with Disney-ABC Domestic Television today announced the launch of the subscription video on demand (SVOD) service, Disney Family Movies.

The service, which showcases classic Disney family movies from one of the world?s largest film libraries, is now available to Comcast digital customers.

Disney Family Movies gives customers unlimited access to approximately 20 hours of content each month, including 10 Disney feature films and two short-form films. The titles will remain in rotation for about a month, with new movies added weekly.

"For just $5.99 a month, we?re offering unlimited viewing of ten classic Disney movies whenever you want -- it?s such a compelling family entertainment value, my daughters offered to take it out of their allowance," said Derek Harrar, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Video Services for Comcast.
