Samsung Electronics America today announced its new series of high-performance monitors ranging from 17 to 22-inches -- the SyncMaster 743BX, 943BX, 943BWX, 2043BWX and 2243BWX.

The new series of displays features a height adjustable stand, providing for height, rotate and swivel capabilities. The BWX widescreen models offer a 16:10 landscape or 10:16 portrait orientation, allowing users to accommodate tall or wide content. Additionally, all the new displays feature an ultra-slim (15 mm) bezel, allowing users to "tile" the monitors side by side for increased productivity.

The monitors feature a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 8,000:1 and Samsung?s proprietary MagicColor technology, which intelligently enhances color automatically for areas that need color correction. Furthermore, the new monitors incorporate DVI with HDCP, allowing them to deliver accurate video images without distorting the original picture quality.

Like all Samsung displays, the BX and BWX monitors are backed by a three-year limited warranty on labor and parts, including the backlight, as well as toll-free technical support for the life of the display.
