AMD is
reportedly planning to launch two versions of its RV635 graphics chip, XT and Pro, in January and February next year.
The RV635 XT will have a core frequency of 800MHz, and 256MB GDDR3 memory, while the RV635 Pro will have a core frequency of 600MHz, and 512MB GDDR2 memory. Both will support 128-bit memory bandwidth.
AMD has not officially confirmed the information, which was reported today by Digitimes.com citing industry sources in Taiwan.
