NEC Extends MultiSync 70 Series with a 24-Inch Widescreen Display

NEC Display Solutions of America announced the extension of its MultiSync 70 Series with the introduction of the MultiSync LCD2470WNX monitor.

Featuring a 24-inch widescreen, the LCD2470WNX is designed specifically for enterprise and performance-minded users.

The MultiSync LCD2470WNX monitor features a high native resolution of 1920 x 1200 (2.3MP). Paired with its 16:10 aspect ratio, the new flat panel display enables users to view high-definition content (up to 1080p), two full pages side-by-side, or multiple application windows at one time. Incorporating Ambix dual analog and digital input technology, the display is certified with Windows Vista PREMIUM and features High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) that allows the support of the latest HDCP-equipped devices and encrypted content (supported through the DVI-D connector).

In addition to featuring thin bezels suitable for multiple-monitor configurations, the MultiSync LCD2470WNX monitor?s industrial design incorporates a 4-way ergonomic stand that allows users to quickly and easily adjust the display height, tilt swivel and orientation (from landscape to portrait) to suit their particular preferences, applications or environments. Conforming with the VESA-mounting specification, the MultiSync LCD2470WNX also can be detached from the stand for arm or wall mounting.

The LCD2470WNX monitor comes packed with advanced features such as, "No Touch Auto Adjust" and NaViKey 4-directional key for easy set up as well as a powered USB Hub that comes with four downstream ports for the easy and quick connection of USB peripherals. The display supports NEC?s exclusive NaViSet software, which offers an intuitive graphical user interface that allows users to adjust On Screen Manager (OSM) display settings via mouse and keyboard. This allows the user to set the monitor to a specific setting for color-critical programs and save settings to a file. The display also includes a 5-setting DV-Mode (Dynamic Video Mode), which optimizes the display?s settings with each application for correct adjustment to color-critical programs.
