New FIC Mobos Support Dual-Core CPUs

First International Computer Inc. (FIC) presents its newest motherboard with Intel 945 chipset. The new products are equipped with i945G chipset that has an integrated graphic core as well as i945P chipset.

Both motherboards named FIC PTM945G and FIC PTM945P are designed in MicroATX form factor.

"FIC realizes the growing demand on home and office system's performance that is why we would like to fulfill the customer's expectations in this domain. The support of the newest dual-core Intel processors and other technologies is the main advantage of the new i945 motherboards," Frantisek Dvorak, Product Development Manager FIC CZ, presents the new boards and adds: "Both motherboards PTM945G and PTM945P, are intended for powerful office and multimedia configurations. As regards the microATX form factor they perfectly designed for small size systems."

On the European market the FIC PTM945G will be launched in July 2005, the FIC PTM945P?s introduction is planned in the 3rd quarter 2005.

FIC PTM945G is based on the Intel 945G Express chipset supporting the newest LGA775 processors, DDR II 533/667 up to 2GB and 1066 MHz FSB. It has an integrated graphic core Intel GMA 950 and an external graphic card can be added thanks to PCI-Express x 16 interface. The board is equipped with 8 USB 2.0 ports, 1 PCI-Express x 1 and 2 PCI slots, IEEE 1394 or 1 Gb LAN.

FIC PTM945P is based on the Intel 945P Express chipset supporting LGA 775 processors. It takes advantage of 2 DDR II 533/667 memory slots up to 2 GB and high-speed FSB (1066 MHz). It supports PCI-Express graphic cards, other expansion is possible thanks to 1 PCI-Express x 1 and 2 PCI slots, 8 USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394 and 1 Gb LAN.
