New Functionality Provides an Easy and Affordable Way to Secure Important Records as Part of a Comprehensive HIPAA Program

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a leading provider of removable storage solutions, today announced that its full line of rewritable 3.5" Magneto-Optical (MO) DynaMO drives will support a new Write-Once Read Many (WORM) format which provides medical professionals and solution providers an easy way to archive important files for permanent record retention, including complete record version history.

With the new Storage Architects Disk Drive TuneUp! for Windows version 4.5 installed, MO users simply format standard rewritable 3.5" Fujitsu MO disks in the optional "archive" format.
