HP debuts quad-band pocket-PC phone

Hewlett-Packard launched a Pocket-PC device, the iPAQ h6365, in Taiwan yesterday. The PDA phone supports quad-band wireless connectivity and complies with the IEEE802.11b Wi-Fi standard.

HP shipped 692,000 Pocket-PC devices in the third quarter to become the second-largest vendor in the global market, following PalmOne with 749,000 units, according to a November 12 report by CNET Asia.
