"...In the company, a "digital lead channel" with a high-speed AD translation machine, the Viterbi (BITABI) detection machine optimized so that the digital phase synchronous loop (PLL) circuit of realizing stable high-speed record / reproduction, and an ETM record mark could be reproduced in high quality is developed. It corresponded to 2Xmax record and reproduction of HD DVD.

Furthermore, it can move at high speed between Buffers RAM through the buffer RAM interface block which also built in the data transfer function of exclusive use and built the data for HD DVD in "muPD63635." By these functions, it is said that the HD DVD system also corresponding to record and reproduction of the present CD/DVD media can be built easily.
