Retail prices of DVD burners keep falling

Retail prices of DVD burners in the Taiwanese market generally dropped last week.

Prices continue to drop for locally made 16x DVD burners without DL (single-sided double layer) support, reaching a low price of NT$3,700-3,900, according to local retail channels.

In addition, prices of 16x DVD-ROM drives and 52x CD-RW burners also slipped from NT$1,100-1,200 (US$32-35) to below NT$1,000 (US$29).
