Message Text: South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co, the world's largest supplier of memory chips, is set to further expand its global market share in response to moves by rival Taiwanese chipmakers to boost investments in memory production, a Japanese business daily reported Thursday.

The Nihon Keizai Shimbun said in a dispatch from Seoul that Samsung, the world's largest DRAM producer, plans to establish its 12th and 13th production lines that use 300mm wafers at its plant in Kiheung to produce more of the key component of personal computers and digital home electronics.
