According to our sources, LiteOn IT in an effort to create a more reliable and well honed testing environment, has purchased 20 CATS system...
...(9 DVD CATS, 12 CD-R/RW CATS) since late last year.
Since LiteON is the largest the Half-Height DVD writer manufacturer in Taiwan, this information comes with great interest to the enthusiast users whom are interested in media analysis and LiteOn's stance in the situation.
Performance of the pick up heads thus far is understood to be lack-lustre, thus three different generations of pick up head system have been implemented since the inception of LiteOn's LDW series hardware through to the SOHW series currently in use.
Where does this leave us in relation to the quality of LiteOn products? With CATS and AudioDev on their side, we hope to see ever-improving results from LiteOn, in the near future. |
