Set to hit the market July 1from Sony, the DESR-7100 and DESR-5100 DVD recorders offer 250GB and 160GB, respectively, of hard disk space offering video and music and image editing.
The products are capable of recording up to 325 and 204 hours of video content in SLP mode, and the easy-to-use graphical interface provides users with the joys of DVD, music jukebox, digital photo album, and PS2 games in the comfort of their own living room.
Other major functions include, Electronic Program Guide (EPG) support, 2.4x hard disk-to-DVD recording, a ghost reduction tuner, a built-in satellite broadcast analog tuner, and high-quality progressive output. Both models are open-priced. The DESR-5100 is also available in silver color in a limited number. |
