Message Text: Plextor Japan officialy announced that the PX-712SA (SerialATA) drives may have problems with Intel motherboards. The problem occurs when the Intel motherboard based at "ICH5/ICH5R" host controller and OS goes to standby/hibernation, the PX-712SA drive won't be recognized from OS when user return back...

What happens actually, is that when user tries to access the drive (even if the icon display shows up), drive hangs-up, leading to a nesessery shutdown/reboot. Plextor suggested that PX-712SA users, shouldn't use neither standby nor hibernation, for the time being. Also isn't know yet, if Plextor will offer replacement driver or correct this problem with new #TLA versions...
