Message Text: Scheduled to hit the market June 1 from Sanyo, the Double Cruiser VZ-DV3G is a Hi-Fi Video and DVD combination player.

The company has employed a newly developed VTR tape loading mechanism to produce possibly the world's thinnest Hi-Fi & DVD player with a height of 79mm.

The product supports Content Protection for Removable Media (CPRM) to enable users to playback terrestrial and broadcasting satellite digital TV programs recorded on a DVD-RW disk.

The system also features progressive DVD playback technology to deliver high quality digital pictures.

The 4kg unit measures 430x79x273mm, and is open-priced. The company will initially produce 10,000 units per month.
