Message Text: Japanese I-O Data unveiled the new GV-MVP/XVD PCI encoder, offering real time XVD compression and an on-board TV tuner in the same device. Availability is expected in the Japanese market late May, at a price tag of 30,975 Yen (EUR 230).

The card can be connected in your PCI slot of your PC, offering real time recording of TV programs on the XVD (extended-play video disc) format. The maximum supported bit rate is 3Mbps, while a lower encoding rate (700Kbps) could offer approximately 14 hours of video stored on a DVD.

The attached software comes from the B.H.A Corporation allowing easy and simple video compilations, editing and play back.
