Message Text: Premiere Pro will support a wide range of HD formats, from HDV to uncompressed 1080i. BOXX Technologies, Matrox, Canopus, Cineform, Bluefish, Black Magic, and 1 Beyond are all showing new HD solutions based on Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe claims.

Other new features in version 1.5 include spline-based Bézier keyframe controls and a series of Photoshop filters, including Auto Levels, Auto Colour, Auto Contrast and Shadows/Highlights. After Effects plug-ins are also now available automatically from within Premiere Pro. For high-end uses, Premiere Pro also supports import and export of Advanced Authoring Format (AAF) and Edit Decision List Format (EDF) projects.

Premiere Pro 1.5 will retail for around £525 plus VAT and upgrades from previous versions will cost around £169 plus VAT.
