Message Text: Albatron Technology, a leading IT company based out of Taiwan, recently delivered two of the most powerful VGA cards with nVIDIA on the market today. Both the GeForce 6800 and GeForce 6800UV are based on the new 6800 Series nVIDIA GPUs. The new "Trinity" cover girl makes her market debut on this new shiny 6800 box design.

The GeForce 6800/6800UV VGA cards also apply AGP 8X that can support the design of most mainboards on the market. The GPU has been clocked up to speeds of 600 MHz and contains 16 pipeline design, therefore the performance of GeForce 6800 is twice as GeForce FX5950. The memory clock for the 6800 is rated at 700 MHz and the 6800UV is rated at 1 GHz. The 6800 contains 128 MB of DDR memory and the 6800UV includes 256 MB GDDR 3 memory. Both cards contain a 256-bit memory bus.

The folks at nVIDIA have come out with new features for the 6800 GPUs used by these cards. A new CineFX TM 3.0 engine is capable of turning out the most exciting, eye-popping, motion picture effects ever. Also, a third generation IntellisampleTM 3.0 provides accurate, high-precision antialiasing and a second generation UltraShadowTM II delivers quite an impressive show of light and shadow manipulation.

The GeForce 6800/6800UV also delivers the latest nView technology allowing you to distribute your Windows desktop over two independent monitors. Separate 400 MHz RAMDAC channels ensure that both monitors can sufficiently keep up with the demands of dual monitor image display. Resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 x 32 bpp (@85 Hz) are supported.

Other features for these cards include D-Sub, DVI, TV-Out, and VIVO (6800UV only) connectors. Albatron also bundles an "S-Video to AV", "S-Video and AV adapter cable", and a "VIVO adapter cable" (6800UV). Bundled software includes WinDVD Creator, "Duke NuKem: Manhattan Project" (retail version) and a 5-in-1 game pack CD-ROM.

This series of products will go on the market in May.
