 HP launches the HP400i 8x DVD writer

Message Text: HP announced the availability of the new HP400i ATAPI DVD+R/+RW burner. The drive supports the 8x DVD+R and 4x DVD+RW writing speed.

Faster than the previous HP model, the drive is able to record CDs at up to 24x. The European retail package inludes the HP DVD Writer dvd400i internal IDE drive with buffer underrun prevention technology, a Software CD including Electronic User's Guide, a Quick Start Placemat, a Getting Help Guide, an IDE Cable and installation screws.
