Teac announced the new universal player DV-15. The new DVD audio / video and SACD player has the same mechanism with the older models DV-30 and DV-50.
DV-15 reproduces all the DVD formats including DVD audio / video, SACD, AudioCD, CD-R/RW and VCD.
The 108MHz / 12 bits video DA converter is responsible for the quality of the analogue output signal. An NSV (Noise Shaped Video) process, a super sub alias filter function, etc are also carried.
The player has a DVI-Dx1 digital output which promises excellent image quality. On the rear panel of the device there are also many outputs such as component x1, D2x1, S-Video x1, composite x2, coaxial digital audio x1, optical digital audio x1, an analog 2ch, and an analog 5.1ch.
DV-15 will be available in silver and black colors. It will start selling in Japan at the end of October.
Dimensions: 442x308x129mm (width x depth x height)
Weight 7.2kg. |
