MSI unveiled the DR4-A, its first DVD writer, supporting all DVD+R/+RW and DVD-R/-RW
formats, along with Sanyo's HD-BURN technology.
The drive supports the following speeds:
DVD+R Write speed at 4X, DVD+RW Rewrite speed at 2.4X, DVD-R Write Speed at 4X, DVD-RW
Rewrite speed at 2X, DVD-ROM Read speed at 12X, CD-R Write speed at 24X, CD-RW Rewrite speed
at 10X, and CD-ROM Read speed at 40X.
MSI DR4-A features ABS Technology (Anti-Bumping System) to absorb shock and reduces
vibrations, and BURN-Proof, to prevent buffer under run and minimize recording failures. MSI
DR4-A is also embedded with 8MB Internal Buffer.
MSI™ DR4-A also supports the HD-BURN (High Density Burn) technology, doubling the capacity of
specified CD-R discs. For example, user can store 1,400MB data into 700MB CD-R disc.
The retail package includes Nero Recording software, PowerDVD Software and ShowBiz Software
for film editing. |
