Message Text: Mitsubishi Chemicals announced that its first 32X CD-RW media will be available in the market by October 1st. The new discs use the patented "New SERL" technology allowing secure recording at 32X.

Early versions of the SERL technology was adopted for writing at 4-12X, for the previous generation CD-RW recorders. The "new SERL" technology was initially adopted to conform the the 24X Ultra Speed standard 24X CD-RW disk, while the"new SERL+" is the 3rd generation technology allowing writing at 32X.
