Matsushita Electric Industrial plans to terminate National brand products for sale abroad to unify its brand with the Panasonic brand, a company official said Monday.

The move is intended to raise efficiency in advertising operations and enhance brand power as about 90% of its products sold abroad come under the Panasonic brand, the official said.
