Pioneer tries to change the cd storage philosophy, anouncing the first cd folder (case) with playback capabilities.
This stylish cd folder named PCR-CF10-W CD can store 6 CD-Rs and play them with the stereo speaker attached on the left and right sides of the case.
The CD file speaker can be connected with CD player, MD and cassette tape via 3.5mm stereo mini plugs. The weight (300gr) and size (141(W)70(D)127(H)mm) is just alike with a normal 6-cd case.
According to Pioneer the CD file speaker will be available in March (Japan), at an estimated price of Euro 25.
So why having a cd player and a cd folder while you can have both in 1!
Basic Specifications:
- External size: 141 (W) × 70 (D) × 127 (H) mm
- Weight: 300g
- Speaker: 57mm (stereo)
- Impedance: 8?
- Audio input: 3.5mm mini-plugs stereo
- Connection cable: 0.7m
- Consumption: 2W (no power source)
- Material: Polypropylene
